Student Lounge Redesign, Studio I

For this class project, I reimagined the existing NYSID Graduate Student Lounge. I was inspired by the Victorian Era, in which the camera first came into fruition, a modern day invention in a traditional era. My design concept seeks to blend mid-century modern with traditional design, studying how to adapt the latter style into a functional, modern space. The design features three separate areas in one open floor plan.
